Cin7 vs Retailer Stock Mismatch
Cin7 shows 2,400 units available. Tesco portal shows 68% availability - should be 85%+. Where did the stock go? We reconcile both views and flag every gap between what left your ERP and what the retailer reports.
Multipack Unit Confusion
Your chocolate bar sells as singles and 12-packs. Tesco reports "units sold" without specifying which. We normalise everything to consumer units - 1 twelve-pack = 12 bars. Numbers always mean the same thing.
Promotional Distortion
You ran 3-for-2 at Sainsbury's for 3 weeks. Week 4 looks like underperformance - it's just post-promo normalisation. We compare against your non-promo baseline, not inflated promo weeks.

Delisted SKU Ghost Data
Almond bar delisted in February. It's April - portal still shows 0 units sold, 0 stock, flagged as a stockout every week. After 8 consecutive zero-sales weeks, we suppress the SKU and mark it likely delisted. Stock reappears? We bring it back automatically.
Distributor Reporting Lag
Distributor sends on the 15th - covering sales from 6 weeks ago. You're reconciling April Week 3 retail data against February distributor data. We tag each source with its actual reporting period and only alert on distributor data more than 60 days old.
In-Transit Pipeline Blind Spots
Cin7 says allocated. 3PL says in transit. Retailer says not received. We show the full pipeline in one view: on-hand, allocated, in-transit, on-order, and late deliveries flagged.
New SKU Cold Start
New flavour, no sales history. Can't calculate a 4-week average yet. We benchmark against category proxies or similar SKUs until week 5, then switch to your actual data automatically.
Depot Consolidation Chaos
Asda depot consolidation. Midlands stock in transit to a new National DC. Availability drops from 88% to 12% - your alerts fire, but it's not a stockout. We track known retailer logistics events and suppress false alerts, flagging "retailer system event" instead.
